James George “Maverick” Greene was born April 3, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, to Norman and Harriet Greene. He died Saturday, August 13, 2016, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 74 years. James was educated in El Centro, California and graduated with the El Centro High School Class of 1961. He was married August 3, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Johnia (Loper) Greene. He spent most of his working life as Sales Manager for Audiovox Corporation. In his spare time James enjoyed off-roading, bowling, taking his family on road trips in the motor home, watching his granddaughter play softball, and playing with his grandson.

Memorial Service will be held at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma at a later date. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
