James Richard Stout III was born October 27, 1947, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to James Richard Stout II and Martha Jane Bean. He died Friday, March 25, 2016, in Tulsa, at the age of 68 years. Richard spent most of his working life in the construction industry as a roofer. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including watching wrestling and riding dune buggies. In his early years he spent time raising pigeons. His primary interest was spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marie Stout, and sister, Geraldine Moore.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Matt Thomason officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Rick Stout, Ricky Wood, David Hill, Eddie Hahn, Derek Degeorge, Bobby Carson, and Michael Maloy. Committal service and interment will follow at Sandridge Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso.
