James William Coday was born November 7, 1972, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Jimmy Ray and Norma Lee Sanders Coday. He died Friday, May 29, 2020, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 47 years. After completing his secondary education James worked as a painter and tree trimmer with his father. He spent most of his working life as a pipeline welder, most recently spending time in Alaska. He was married April 18, 2018, in Libby, Montana, to Robyn Russell. James was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and the National Rifle Associating. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2020, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Jim Kent officiating. Private family disposition will be held at a later date. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
