“Tonight Show” host coming to The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. – For the last two decades, Jay Leno has been entertaining television audiences as the host of the top-rated “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” When he’s not interviewing Hollywood’s biggest stars, Leno tours the world as a stand-up comedian. He will perform on March 30 at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.
Tickets start at $60 and go on sale Feb. 14.
Leno’s career began as a comedian performing more than 300 dates per year throughout the mid-70s. As the decade came to a close, the New Yorker moved to Los Angeles and began a career in film and television that included small roles in “American Hot Wax” and “Welcome Back, Kotter.”
The stand-up comedian made his first appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” on March 2, 1977, and a decade later was named permanent guest host.
In 1992, Leno became the host of the hit NBC late night show and has remained a constant draw of millions of viewers with his nightly show that features A-list guests and comedic routines like “Headlines” and “Jaywalking.”
A well-known car enthusiast, Leno showcases his passion project at www.jaylenosgarage.com. The website features his vast collection of nearly 200 automobiles that includes classics, high performance, electric cars, trucks and motorcycles.
Leno is also an accomplished author of best-selling children’s books and his 1998 memoir “Leading with My Chin.”
