Jerry Glenn HessJerry Glenn Hess was born October 3, 1968, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, to Emel Clarence Hess and Glynis Patricia Garschina Hess. He died Saturday, January 22, 2022, in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 53 years. Jerry completed his secondary education in Owasso, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1987, where he excelled in football. He continued playing football at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He attended Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa and began a career as an aviation maintenance technician with American Airlines. He was a member of the Transport Workers Union Local #514. Jerry was married July 11, 2009, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Tina Rene McKenna. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including fishing, golfing, riding motorcycles and off-roading with Tina and his friends, and fixing cars with his best buddy Brad. He also enjoyed playing with his dogs.

Father; Emel Hess, of Owasso, Oklahoma
Best Buddy; Brad McCaskey
And a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his mother, Glynis Hess

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Transport Workers Union Hall at 11945 East Pine Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74116. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Jerry’s memory to the MidAmerica Transplant Family Services House, 1110 Highlands Plaza Drive East, Suite 100, St. Louis, Missouri, 63110, or www.midamericatransplan.org . Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
