John Courtland “Jack” Leach, Jr., was born August 4, 1944, in Berkley, California, to John Courtland and Norma Lee Bowman Leach. He died Wednesday, December 14, 2016, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 72 years. Jack survived polio as a child and completed his secondary education in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Nathan Hale High School Class of 1963. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Air Force. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including reading old Westerns and working crossword puzzles. Jack also enjoyed watching baseball and was an avid Texas Rangers fan.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
