John Fred Collins was born January 25, 1952, in Harrison, Arkansas, to Lowell Forest and Kate Burns Collins. He died Thursday, July 4, 2019, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, at the age of 67 years. John was reared and educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and attended Will Rogers High School. He served his country honorably with the United States Marine Corps. John was married December 4, 1976, in Okemah, Oklahoma, to Barbara Cheek. He spent most of his working life as a welder with Renfo Associates and later with Rotork Valvekits in Tulsa. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including hunting and fishing. Those he leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2019, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Final resting place will be Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
