At approximately 7:30pm Thursday evening, Owasso Police responded to a shoplifting call at the Dollar General Store, located at 505 East 2nd Avenue. The
call quickly escalated when the woman suspected of shoplifting tried to flee from officers.
One officer was run over by her car, and the other injured after bricks fell from a pillar she hit with her vehicle. Police have released body cam video (see above)
Police booked Bailey Cargile, 26 of Independence , Kansas into the Tulsa County Jail on multiple complaints, including DUI, aggravated assault on a police officer, reckless driving and false impersonation.
Two officers as well as Cargile were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
