Lorna Jean Long was born May 23, 1940, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Loren Lee Green and Imogene Favors Green. She died Monday, January 3, 2022, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 81 years. Lorna was reared and educated in Corpus Christi and graduated with the Sundeen High School Class of 1958. She was married October 3, 1959, in Corpus Christi to David Arthur Long. The had made their home in Owasso, Oklahoma, moving there in 1977. Lorna spent her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family. For the last 15 years she worked for Owasso Public Schools as a night custodian and bus driver. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially attending her grandkids soccer games. She was affectionately known to family and friends as “Nanny”.

Children; Lisa Holland and husband Chris, of Tulsa, Oklahoma
Sherrie Pankake and husband Andrew, of Owasso, Oklahoma
Grandchildren; Ashley Domerese, Jacob Pankake, and Hollie Pankake.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, David Long, and two brothers, Michael Green and Ronald Green.
A private family interment will take place at a later date in Corpus Christi, Texas. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Lorna’s memory to the American Lung Association, 1010 East Eighth Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74120-9906, or www.lung.org .
