At approximately 10:40PM on Friday, April 17th 2015 Owasso Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 300 North Main Street in Owasso.
Officers arrived and made contact with a subject at an apartment complex at that intersection who advised he had been robbed. The victim, an adult male, claimed while walking in the area he was approached by a clean cut adult black male wearing an orange hat, dark hoodie and pants armed with a hand gun. The victim claims a physical altercation ensued whereby the suspect was able to take property from the victim. The victim claims he was able to break free and flee on foot. The victim claims the suspect fired shots at him as he ran.
Patrol Officers canvassed the area but no suspect was located. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to call the Owasso Police TipLine at 918-272-COPS (2677) and as always you can remain completely anonymous. This investigation is ongoing.
