On Sunday August 14, just after 2:30pm, Owasso Officers were dispatched to an altercation/disturbance at the Greens Apartments in the area of 13700 East 85 Street North. The reporting party stated that a man had been run over by a truck.
Upon arrival, officers located a man who had been involved in the altercation lying injured on the street. Witnesses reported that the man had been arguing with a person in a black pickup and as he attempted to stop the person from leaving when he was run over by the pickup.
A 32 year old male was taken to a Tulsa hospital, emergency status by Owasso Medics with injuries to his legs and abdomen. His current condition is not known at this time.
Owasso Assistant Police Chief Jason Woodruff states all involved parties have been interviewed by the police and are cooperating with the investigation. Upon completion, the findings of the investigation will be sent to the Tulsa County District Attorney to determine if criminal charges are warranted.
