Martha Jeanne Harrisberger was born on October 3, 1934, in Perry, Oklahoma to Moody Ray Parks and Maxine Helen (Winkler) Parks. She passed from this temporary life and entered eternal life with Jesus on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at her home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years. Martha was raised and educated in Ponca City, Oklahoma and graduated with the Ponca City High School Class of 1952. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in education from Oklahoma State University. Martha was married on November 23, 1957, at the First Baptist Church in Ponca City, OK to William “Bill” Henry Harrisberger. Martha taught school in Ponca City for five years and then moved to Tulsa where she earned her Masters in Oil Painting from the University of Tulsa. She taught Art, Second grade, and Library with the Tulsa Public School system for 24 years before retiring. Martha was a faithful long-term member of the First Baptist Church of Tulsa, OK. After she moved to Owasso she worshiped at Bethel Baptist Church in Owasso and then spent five years at Asbury Methodist Church in Tulsa, and had most recently served at Grace Baptist Church in Owasso. In her spare time, she enjoyed drawing, painting, patchwork quilting, crocheting, and teaching art and singing in the choir at the Baptist Village in Owasso.

And many cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Moody and Maxine Parks, and her sister, Lucerne Weber.
