Mary Sue Lair was born October 29, 1921, in Kacy, Arkansas, to Olle James and Florence Vina (Belt) Metcalf. She died Monday, July 1, 2013, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 91 years. Mary was married July 30, 1936, in Minco, Oklahoma, to Irven Garland Lair. She spent much of her working life as a binder with Ross-Martin Printing. She was active with the Owasso Golden Agers and the Eastern Star. Mary enjoyed a variety of pastimes and was very talented in arts and crafts, crocheting, and needle point.

11 great grandchildren
And a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irven “Red” Lair; brother, William Metcalf; and three sisters, Martha Robson, Lucille Garrett, and Louise Williamson.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2013, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Jim Carty officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Jeff Goraieb, John Goraieb, James Goraieb, Jason Goraieb, and Chad Rambo. Interment will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
