Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports an injury collision occurred Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 9:30pm on 209th East Avenue just south of Highway 20 in Rogers County.
The report shows a 2002 Yamaha motorcycle driven by Kirk Steele, 30 was transported by Owasso EMS to St Francis in Tulsa with head, trunk, external and internal injuries. He was admitted in critical condition.
His passenger, Heather Keller, 34 of Tulsa was also transported to St. Francis Hospital by Owasso EMS with arm and leg injuries. She was not admitted.
The report shows Steele was southbound on 209th when he struck several tree limbs on the roadway causing him to depart the road to the right and overturn.
The report shows helmet in use by passenger but not in use by the driver.
