Orrnah Vondean “Rana” Testerman was born March 7, 1940, in Westville, Oklahoma, to Paul Thomas Barber and Bertha Mae Neale Barber. She died Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in Oologah, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years. Rana was raised and educated in Westville and graduated with the Westville High School Class of 1958. While in high school, Rana was a talented basketball player and earned All-Conference honors. She was married December 22, 1960, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to John Testerman. She had worked outside the home for a couple of years, but primarily was a homemaker and cared for her husband and daughters. Rana was a strong woman of faith and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Collinsville, Oklahoma. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially shopping at garage sales. Her primary love was her family, and she was very fond of her role as “Grandma Rana”.

Karla Vondean Yates and husband Wade, of Oologah, Oklahoma
Grandchildren; Casey Yates and wife Samantha, of Owasso, Oklahoma
Kelsey York and husband Buel, of Oologah, Oklahoma
Haylee Sharp and husband Craig, of Owasso, Oklahoma
Nine great grandchildren
Brother; Kenneth Barber, of Oologah, Oklahoma
Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Dear Friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Bertha Barber, three sisters, Leona Scism, Maegene Guthrie, and Ruth Hamby, and one brother, Dwayne Barber.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Collinsville First Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Prock officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be James Barber, Andy Barber, Wade Yates, Kenneth Jordan, Casey Yates, and Braxton Yates. Committal service and interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oologah, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
