Owasso Education Foundation’s Patriot Classic is scheduled for May 11, 2015 at the award winning Patriot Golf Club! This annual tournament hosts hundreds of golfers with lots of food, fun, and prizes. This event sells out with a full slate of golfers each year and is OEF’s largest fundraiser.
OEF provides funding for educational opportunities that would not likely receive monies through the school district’s general fund. All educators of students served by the Owasso public school system may apply for funds. Since the Foundation’s inception in 1990, it has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars through its “Grants to Teachers” program.
This years tournament will once again be held at the beautiful Patriot Golf Course. The Patriot was awarded the Best New Private Club by GOLFWEEK and is a Robert Trent Jones, Jr. course that incorporates lowland marsh, heavy woodlands, high prairie and dramatic limestone cliffs to create one of his finest masterpieces.
