05/02/2018 – Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a personal injury collision occurred May 1st, 2018 at 4:22pm on SH82 southbound at 620RD, located 5 miles south of Locust Grove, OK, in Mayes County.
A 1999 Dodge PK, driven by Stanley K. Washington 26, of Tahlequah and a 2017 Ford PK, driven by Joshua L. Hammett , age 29 of Owasso were both traveling southbound on SH82. A 1992 Ford Mustang, driven by Michael D. McWilliams, age 37 of Nowata, was traveling northbound on SH82.
Hammett slowed for cause, and was struck in the rear by Washington. Washington continued to travel and impacted McWilliams.
Washington and his passenger, age 1, were uninjured. Hammett, and his two passengers, ages 1 and 9 were also uninjured. McWilliams was transported by MESTA Ambulance Service to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, and admitted in good condition with arm, leg, head and trunk external injuries.
