12/12/2018 – Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports an Owasso man died after crashing his pickup truck into his own home Wednesday morning around 1:45am.
OHP Reports 61-year old Mark Mauldin suffered some sort of medical incident before crashing into his own home.
Owasso police received a call from a resident nearby, reporting a loud crash sound, thinking there was an accident. Owasso Police began driving the area, coming upon the incident.
Mauldin’s 2004 Dodge Ram hit the front porch, causing some damage to the home.
Officers report that Mauldin’s death was not related to the crash, but they believe due to a medical incident. Owasso officers on the scene began CPR prior to medics and OHP arrival. Mauldin was then transported to St John Hospital in Owasso, where he was pronounced dead.
Family members were at home at the time, but none of them were hurt.
