Owasso Man Dies in Monday Evening Crash

ohp logo09/04/2018 – Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports an Owasso man died Monday evening in a crash involving a semi on the Will Rogers Turnpike.

Michael Williams, 36, of Owasso, was pronounced dead at the scene, which happened about five miles west of the Adair exit. 

Williams, driving a 2004 Toyota Camry and Tony Collins, 45, of Pearl, Mississippi,  driving a 2019 Freight-liner, were both traveling westbound at the time of the accident.  The cause of the crash, which occurred around 6:00pm is under investigation.

The OHP report shows Williams was pinned in his car for 1.5 hours until extricated by the Big Cabin Fire Department.

Collins and a passenger in the semi were both reported to be uninjured.
