04/30/2018 – Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports an Owasso man was hospitalized in serious condition after being injured an accident around 7:20am Monday morning. The accident happened on Main Parkway at Neosho Road, inside the Port of Catoosa, two miles north of Catoosa in Rogers County.
Matthew Wells, 41, of Owasso was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. He was transported by Air-Evac to a Tulsa Hospital with head, arm, leg and external and internal trunk injuries.
Phillip Smith, 61, of Tulsa was driving a Peterbilt Tractor and was uninjured.
The incident occurred around 7:20 a.m. on Main Parkway at Neosho Road, inside the Port of Catoosa, two miles north of Catoosa, according to the police report.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
