02/20/2018 – Owasso Police Officers were dispatched Tuesday morning to a burglary in progress reported at a residence near 14100 East 86 Court.
The female resident reportedly awoke to hear what sounded like voices in her backyard. She then heard someone trying to break into her house by forcing open the back door.
The victim called 911 and hid in a locked upstairs bathroom as she could hear the suspect(s) downstairs inside the house. Officers arrived less than one minute after the call was dispatched, entered the house and found suspect Jackie Moore 31, of Owasso, hiding inside.
Moore was arrested for First Degree Burglary as other officers searched the area around the residence with a K-9, but were unable to locate any additional suspects.
