09/13/2022 – One block away from our office is the Owasso Police Station. Seeing police cars zooming by piques our curiosity. Yesterday was one of those days as car after car zipped by with sirens blaring.
At approximately 12:30pm Owasso Police were dispatched to a shoplifting in progress at Kohl’s Department Store, 12405 East 96th Street North. Police located the suspects in the parking lot and a pursuit ensued. By the time the pursuit reached 76th Street near our office, scanner traffic reported the suspect car was driving on only two tires and the air bags were deployed.
The pursuit continued ending in the area of 66th Street North and Hwy 169 where the suspects crashed out and bailed from their vehicle. One person was detained at the scene. He is Eddie Tyrone Scyffore, 56 of Tulsa.
