Owasso Police Officers and local children meet at Owasso Walmart for the 2016 Shop with a Cop event.
12/21/2016 If you drove by Owasso Walmart this morning, you know it was the safest place to be in the city, as Police Cars lined the center for the annual “Owasso Shop with a Cop” day.
Owasso Community Resource chose area children to shop with local officers. Owasso Public Schools provided a bus that brought the 16 area children to meet with their shopping officer buddies.
The Owasso FOP raised money all year to go toward this event. Each child had $100 to spend on themselves and/or family members.
By the looks on officers faces, they enjoyed the shopping trip as much as the children.
