03/31/2025 – Late Sunday night, Owasso Police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire in various locations across the city. The first reports came in around 9:54 PM, with callers identifying the Casa Del Mar Apartment Complex (86th St N & N Memorial Dr) as a possible source of the shots. Officers quickly flooded the area and investigated multiple vehicles and locations, but no immediate suspects were located.
Further investigation revealed that an unoccupied vehicle in the apartment complex parking lot had been hit multiple times by gunfire. Residents and visitors who were at the complex that night are urged to inspect their vehicles for damage, such as small holes or ricochet marks, and report anything suspicious to the authorities. Additionally, anyone with exterior cameras in the area is asked to review footage between 9:45 PM and 10:00 PM for any suspicious activity, including flashes of light that may indicate gunfire.
The Casa Del Mar incident was not the only report that night:
-
Just before 9:54 PM, another call reported gunfire near 100th St N & 127th E Ave, in the area of The 98 Apartments (behind Walmart Supercenter).
-
10 to 15 minutes later, a separate report of shots fired came from 76th St N & the Owasso Expressway (US 169 area).
-
Shortly after that, the final report of gunfire was made near 12700 E 82nd St N (near 129th E Ave, between the 6th Grade Center and Mills Elementary).
Owasso night shift officers worked tirelessly, responding to each location, checking vehicles, and following leads, but no suspects have been identified at this time.
If you were in any of these areas between 9:45 PM and 10:30 PM, please take a moment to check your vehicles or property for any gunfire-related damage. Also, if you have an exterior security camera, review the footage for anything unusual and report any findings.
