On Thursday, October 24 at approximately 12:37 hours Owasso Police responded to a reported home invasion at a private residence in the 14900 block on E. 90 Pl N in the Preston Lakes addition of Owasso.
The victim alleged that she answered her door to find 2 white males with a story about a lost dog.
When the victim advised she could not help them she alleges one man pulled a gun and forced her back into her home where they allegedly robbed her of electronics equipment before leaving. The victim advised she was not hurt during the incident.
Hodson Elementary School, which is located in the area was not placed on lockdown, HOWEVER, Sgt Latta, the Sgt over the SRO’s went to Hodson and posted there. So, while the patrol shifts were searching the area for suspects, the SRO staff was at Hodson securing the perimeter. Sgt Latta did not want to alarm the students but the school was being watched by the SROs at the time.
Owasso Police canvassed the area and spoke with several neighbors but were not able to locate any suspects at the time. The investigation is ongoing.
