On Saturday, April 16, 2016 at approximately 2:50PM Owasso Police responded to a reported intruder at a residence in the 11100 block North of 118th East Avenue in the Remington Place addition in Owasso.
Upon arrival officers were unable to locate any suspects inside the home the resident was calling from, however during a canvass of the immediate area officers found an abandoned home with signs of forced entry.
During a search of the vacant house officers discovered materials used in the manufacture of methamphetamine, remnants of used methamphetamine lab(s) as well as product, used syringes and extremely dangerous chemicals throughout the house.
The Owasso Police Clan-Lab Team was dispatched to clean-up and secure the residence.
No suspects were found inside the vacant home, however officers were happy to have discovered this lab and have it removed so no future tragedy occurs.
