In early April 2014, a juvenile female came forward to report that she had been sexually abused by an adult male she met at church. Although the church was located in Tulsa, the alleged abuse occurred at the suspect’s residence at the Villa Apartments in Owasso. The suspect was identified as 32 year old Damien Keith Bonner, the pastor of Galilee Baptist Church in Tulsa.
After an investigation by Owasso Detectives and DHS, this case was submitted to the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office. An arrest warrant was subsequently issued on 05/14/2014.
At approximately 5:20PM Wednesday, members of the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force located Bonner in Tulsa and took him into custody. Bonner is currently being booked into DL Moss on the charge of Lewd Molestation (6 Counts) and held on $300,000 bond.
