Owasso Soccer Club is proud to sponsor ‘Adopt-A-Wish’ benefiting Make-A-Wish Oklahoma in honor of Beckett.
OSC is hosting a 5K this spring partnering with the Y, on April 12, 2014. Get ready to run in OSC’s first annual 5K – The Places You’ll Go.
Beckett has Glycogen Storage Disease and his wish is, “I Wish to go on a boat with a water slide.”
Beckett tends to be quiet and shy. He likes to play dinosaurs and robots and loves to read! Some of his favorite stories are Curious George, Toy Story and Monsters Inc. Because of his condition he cannot eat sweets, but likes salty snacks like goldfish crackers and potato chips. His favorite team is OU Sooners. He lives in Collinsville, OK with his mom and dad, two sisters and a brother.
5K SCHEDULE
- APRIL 11, 2014 12pm-9pm – Packet pick-up/Late Registration @ Owasso YMCA
- APRIL 12, 2014 7:30am-8:30pm – Packet pick-up/Late Registration/Chip pick-up
- 9:00 am – Fun Run begins
- 9:30 am – 5k Pre-Race Warm-up & Rally
- 9:45 am – 5k begins
AWARDS
There will be an awards ceremony immediately following the race. Awards will only be given for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place based upon established age divisions. Prizes will be given to overall winners for men’s and women’s.

- 1 mile fun run – $15
- 5K timed – $30
- Sleepwalker {donation} $20 – will receive t-shirt (limited availability)
- Team Registration (minimum 5) – $25
- First 500 runners receive short sleeved t-shirt.
YOU MAY REGISTER IN PERSON ON FRIDAY, APRIL 11th @ 12pm-9pm & APRIL 12th @ 7:30am-8:30am at the OWASSO YMCA 8300 N Expy, Owasso 74055 – cash/check only.
LATE REGISTRATION AFTER APRIL 6TH IS $35 FOR 5K & $20 FUN RUN @ PICK-UP AND DAY OF. Cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover. On-line registration closes April 6th at midnight.
Race will be timed by Time Line Results.

PACKET PICKUP
Packets cannot be mailed to participants.
T-shirts & packets may be picked up on FRIDAY, APRIL 11th at the OWASSO YMCA 8300 N Expy, Owasso 74055 from 12pm-9pm or SATURDAY, APRIL 12th, at the registration table at the event from 7:30am-8:30am. WE HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU PICK-UP ON FRIDAY!
