This will be the seventh, Bi-annual event and has proven to be a great opportunity for residents to give back to our community by impacting Owasso neighborhoods in a positive way.
OSNI-Owasso CARES received the 2012 Keep Oklahoma Beautiful Environmental Excellence Award. The recognition received was a validation for our program and for the effort of our Volunteer Leadership Team and the volunteers that have participated.
If you have volunteered in the past or were a part of our Day of Service this past April when we had 157 volunteers, we thank you for giving back to our community.
We encourage you to join us again for this upcoming Fall Day of Service on September 21st. Our Volunteer Leadership Team is making preparations now to impact neighborhoods in the Northwest part of our community. We will again paint fire hydrants, provide dumpsters for debris, assist residents in hauling off items, pick-up trash along street streets and do some landscaping work.
