07/08/2019 – On July 4th at 11:22 PM a woman came to the Owasso Police Department to file a domestic assault report.
An Owasso officer met with the victim, who reported she and her husband (Grady Moetala) had been in an argument at their residence in Owasso. The victim reported that Grady threatened to shoot her, barricaded the doors to lock her inside the house and took her cell phone to keep her from calling the police for help. The victim reported that Grady allegedly grabbed her around the throat with his hand and pointed a handgun at her head during the altercation. The victim reported that Grady eventually told her to leave the house, at which time she came to the Owasso Police Department. Officers observed injuries on the victim that were consistent with the assault she described.
Officers went to the residence and made contact with Grady Maotala where he was taken in to custody without incident.
