Owasso Youth Court is now accepting applications for Owasso Youth Court Volunteers. The volunteer youth court is available to all Owasso area students in grades 9 through 12. It is a program giving high school students the experience of serving as members of a court giving first-time juvenile offenders an opportunity for a hearing conducted by their peers. It is an excellent opportunity for students interested in the legal/judicial professions or needing volunteer hours for college applications. Any student interested in participating as a volunteer can contact Judy Phillips, Owasso Youth Court Specialist at 918-609-6764 or jphillips@yst.org. Students must attend a Training to be part of the court and training is scheduled for mid November, 2024.
