07/16/2019 – Owasso, OK – Rust & Ruffles Market Boutique and Dixie Belle Paint Company are excited to announce a campaign raising money for Soles4Souls, a non-profit based in Nashville, TN that creates sustainable jobs and provides relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world.
“Paint it Forward” is a social media campaign hosted on Facebook until September 15, 2019. For every photo submitted of shoes painted with Dixie Belle Paint, $1 will be donated to Soles4Souls. Each dollar donated equals a pair of shoes for someone in need. Rust & Ruffles Market Boutique will be hosting a class on Saturday, July 20th to encourage local participation. The class will be held at 8528 N 129th E Ave, Owasso, OK 74055 from 11 am to 2 pm. This will be an event open to the public and free. Participants must bring in their own canvas shoes to the class and the shop will supply the supplies.
Since 2006, Soles4Souls has distributed more than 30 million pairs of shoes in 127 countries and generated over $250 million in economic impact.
To participate, contributors can submit a photo of his or her painted pair of shoes to the “Chalk Mineral Paint Enthusiasts” group on Facebook.
