Patricia Ann “Pat” Crow was born January 14, 1933, in Morris, Oklahoma, to Samuel William and Mildred Beatrice Selheim VanZandt. She died Friday, May 29, 2020, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 87 years. Pat was married February 9, 1949, in in Woodruff County, Arkansas, to her sweetheart Plaze Otis “P.O.” Crow. While the marriage license may say she was 18 and he was 21, P.O.’s mom and sister knew that she was actually 16 and he was 18. Even youth could not stop true love. Using a ring from his sister, the two married and enjoyed 66 beautiful years together before his death in 2015. Although she devoted many years to being a wife and mother at home, she also worked side-by-side with P.O. as they owned and operated Allied Limb and Brace Company in Tulsa. Upon retirement, the two spent their time golfing, traveling, and loving each other. Eventually, they moved to their own piece of paradise in Inola, Oklahoma. There, she continued to enjoy her time fishing, gardening, reading, adopting cats, and making memories with loved ones. She treasured her roles of wife, mom, sister, Aunt Pat, Mommy Dear, and “Grandma Great” to all those she held close. Pat’s home, and especially her kitchen, was filled not only with the best cooking around, but also the warmth and love she so freely shared.
Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:
