Patty Rose Dodwell was born April 11, 1930, in Hydro, Oklahoma, to Leonard Stuart and Frieda Mae (Morgan) Dungan. She died Sunday, August 21, 2016, in Oologah, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years. Patty completed her secondary education in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Ponca City High School Class of 1949. She continued her education attending Bethany College of the Nazarene studying business. Patty spent most of her working life owning and operating her janitorial business. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including painting and crafts, especially ceramics. She particularly cherished her role as grandma to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held from noon to 4:00 Saturday, September 17, 2016, at the Sharp residence, 13851 South 4080 Road, Oologah, Oklahoma, at which time the family will plant a tree in Patty’s memory. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
