Peggy Ann Culbertson was born June 19, 1937, in Powell, Ohio, to Charles (Nick) Albert and Ruth Mae Elizabeth (Clifford) Hopper. She died Thursday, August 22, 2013, in Catoosa, Oklahoma, at the age of 76 years. Peggy was reared and educated in Powell where she graduated with the Olentangy High School Class of 1955. She was married September 5, 1959, at Powell to James David “Jim” Culbertson. She spent most of her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family. Peggy enjoyed a variety of pastimes including baking, sewing, bowling, playing volleyball, and just making sure everyone was happy.

Jerry Hopper and wife Jadean, of Columbus, Ohio
Sister; Charlene Baggs and husband Walter, of Lewis Center, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Marcella Cahill and Delores, and a brother, Bob Hopper.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2013, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Matt Thomason officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Jim Culbertson, Jr., Steve Culbertson, David Culbertson, Alan Culbertson, Nathan Culbertson, Alex Culbertson, Will Culbertson, and Avery Culbertson. Committal services and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2448 East 81st Street, Suite 3000, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74137.
