Perfecto Serna, age 61, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his home. He was born April 16, 1955 in Donna, Texas to Cipriano and Teresa (Lopez) Serna.
He and Judith “Judy” Rich were married November 14, 1975 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They had just celebrated their 41st anniversary on Monday. Perfecto retired from Ford Glass after 30 years of service. He was an avid OU fan, and loved spending time with his grandson Adam. He and Judy attended Century Cathedral in Tulsa.
Perfecto is survived by his wife Judy of the home. Daughter, Christina Ann Farley and husband Jeremey of Coweta, OK, three grandsons, Adam Farley, Hayes Farley, and Hunter Farley; granddaughter, Hannah Farley; three brothers, Mario Serna and wife Kris of Claremore, OK, Pedro Serna and wife Kay of Jenks, OK, Andres Serna of Claremore, OK; three sisters, Sylvia Sartin of Tulsa, OK, Graciella Brumley and husband Phil of Muskogee, OK, Elena Hancock and husband Raymond of Talala, OK; mother, Teresa Lopez Serna; father, Cipriano Serna, Sr.; sister-in-law Kathy Hallford and husband Larry of Gilbert Town, Alabama; mother-in-law, Thelma Rich of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; A multitude of Nieces and Nephews, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Cipriano Serna, Jr.; Father-in-law, Bill Rich; Granddaughter, Emily Grace Farley; two sisters-in-law, Rebecca Fordyce and Elena Lea Serna; brother-in-law, Jerry D. Sartin; and nephew, Brandon Herrera.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Century Cathedral Church in Tulsa. Rev. Donald Homady, Rev. Bob Alsup, and Phillip Dawson will be officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Pedro Serna, Phillip Dawson, Kendall Sartin, David Serna, Mario Serna, and Andres Serna.
