RIBBON CUTTING EVENT FOR “THE MISSION”
10/15/2018 – The MISSION is a $2 million dollar 10,000 square foot building / ministry that loves people to Jesus Christ, as we provide clothes, shoes, backpacks, personal care products, diapers, coats and furniture for people facing hardships in Owasso and the surrounding communities.
The Owasso Chamber of Commerce will conduct a ribbon-cutting event for First Baptist Church Owasso’s, The MISSION building on Thursday, October 18 at 11:15am.
The Mission is located at 11341 North Garnett Road. It is in Owasso, just South of Highway 20 (116th Street North) and Garnett Road, on the East side.

BUILDING DESCRIPTION:
- Entrance / check-in desk
- Waiting room
- Counseling offices
- Shopping area (Free, there will be limits)
- Warehouse
- Walk-in freezer and refrigerator
- Commercial grade kitchen
- Large multi-purpose meeting room for 150 people
BUILDING PURPOSE:
We partner people who have things with people who need things. We provide items for people facing hardships in Owasso and the surrounding communities

- Infant clothes, diapers, food, and formula

- Furniture
- Counseling / prayer / resource referrals
