Roberta Joyce Long 57 of Tulsa, OK passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was born December 7, 1957 in Cincinnati, OH she was born to Scott and Natalie (Maser) Houston. She graduated high school in Ohio.
Roberta married Garry Long in June of 1999. She and Garry had 2 daughters; Connie Smith of Fairland, OK and Kaylee Long of Tulsa, OK, 1 Son, Garry Don Long of Broken Arrow, OK,
2 grandchildren, Sammy Long and Joseph Long, 2 sisters; Pam Phillips of Mansfield, OH, Paula Reynolds of Woodlands, TX, along with 2 brothers; Scott Houston and Phillip Houston both of Trenton, OH. Numerous nieces and nephews and many foster children. Roberta will be greatly missed. She was proceeded in death by her parents.
She moved Oklahoma on her way to stardom but, she met Garry and never left the state. She and Garry were a part of the Bair Foundations for over 8 years and fostered many children along the way. Roberta was a long standing member of Guts Church.
Roberta was a florist for 15 years and loved making floral arrangements. She also loved scrapbooking her many family photos. Roberta had 3 dogs and 1 cat that she loved dearly. She could often be found walking her dogs. Of her many talents Roberta had a love for singing and is now singing with the Heavenly choir.
Memorial Services are scheduled for 1:00pm Friday, October 30, 2015 in the Chapel at Dighton- Moore Funeral Service Owasso, OK. Officiated by Rev. Charles Jennings. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Owasso, OK.
