Rusty Craig Birkenholtz was born June 22, 1957, in Newton, Iowa, to Wilbur Dale Birkenholtz and Louise Faye Ellenwood Birkenholtz. He died Sunday, September 8, 2024, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 67 years. Rusty was completed his secondary education in Newton, Iowa, and graduated with the Newton High School Class of 1975. He continued his education through several trade schools. Rusty worked several jobs, but most recently was working for Ryco with National Carwash Solutions as a technician.
Rusty enjoyed a variety of pastimes including spending time on the water fishing. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Rusty was especially fond of his role as “Papa” and “Grandpa”.

Daughters; Kacey Vanvark
Kendra Miller and husband Steven
Sister; Lucinda “Cindy” Schrader and husband Garrold
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Louise Ellenwood, and his brother, Randy Dale Birkenholtz
Private family disposition will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
