12/29/2020 – Safe Haven Child Development Center Owasso is now open to serve children 6 weeks to 5 years old.
Located inside Destiny Life Church on the corner of 116th and Highway 169, this is Safe Haven’s second location. (The first is in Claremore.) Both locations are DHS certified and provide all the amenities for your growing child to explore, create, engage and learn in a fun environment that will exercise all five senses.
Safe Haven’s Director Stephanie Traylor says the motivation behind opening a center in Owasso is to better serve the community.
“We wanted to bring our vision of equipping generations and providing quality care to the Owasso area,” Traylor says. “Our mission is to provide quality care and teaching for children in a fun and safe environment. Our desire is that children, supported by their families and Safe Haven, will be equipped to engage their culture in a positive way.”
Safe Haven uses FunShine Express, a Christian curriculum that encompasses all areas of a child’s development, including language, cognitive, physical, art expression and social/emotional development.
“Children learn best through interacting with their environment,” Traylor says, “and FunShine activities are designed with that in mind. They will help us prepare children for a bright future and have fun along the way!”
Children also benefit from the facility’s commercial kitchen and a full-time certified chef who prepares breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks daily, according to a customized and uniquely developed nutrition program catered to each child’s individual needs.
“No matter what your child needs, our centers provide the support and tools necessary for optimal growth.” Parents can be assured when their children graduate from Safe Haven, they are fully prepared for the next step of their academic journey.
If you live, work or play in the Owasso area, Safe Haven may be the perfect fit for your family.
