My First Storytime

Tuesday and Wednesday mornings starting Sept 6th, 10:00-10:25 a.m.

This lapsit storytime features stories, songs and early literacy activities that are just right for your newborn through 2 year old.

 

 

Preschool Storytime

Tuesday and Wednesday mornings starting Sept 6th, 10:30-11:00 a.m.

This storytime features stories, songs and early literacy activities that are just right for your 3 through 5 year old.

  

 

Stay and Play

Tuesday and Wednesday mornings starting Sept 6th, 11:00-11:30 a.m.

Stay after storytime for playtime featuring developmentally appropriate toys, activities and art. For newborns through 5 year olds.

 

 

Radical Home Economics is a series of programs focusing on skills to help you live a healthy, green and frugal life. Registration is required for each class. Seating is limited! The Owasso Library is partnering with Michelle Bonicelli, family and consumer sciences educator at the OSU Extension Center–Tulsa to present two new Radical Home Economics programs this fall:

 

Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up

Thursday, Sept. 8 • 11 a.m.-noon

Is it hard to keep your house in order? Do you struggle with stu­ff ? Let’s create a dramatic change by applying home maintenance techniques made popular in Marie Kondo’s book, The life-changing magic of tidying up. We will focus on simple, no-cost ways to reduce possessions.

 

Waffle It

Thursday, Oct. 6 • 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

You might think a waffle iron has the sole purpose of making perfect breakfast waffles, but your waffles iron is a multitasker! Think outside the box of waffle batter mix and learn to use your waffle iron for other foods. Foods like bacon, scrambled eggs, brownies, cinnamon rolls and quesadillas — all from your waffle iron.

 

 
   

PAWS For Reading

Monday, Sept 19 • 4 p.m.-5 p.m.

Registered therapy dogs are excellent listeners. Kids ages 5-12 are invited to read their favorite books to a furry, four-pawed friend. Each reader will receive a free book provided by the Tulsa Library Trust. Registration is required. Call 918-549-7624 to register.
