Sheila Sebring, 83 of Henryetta, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 in a Tulsa hospital. She was born March 21, 1933 in Fayette, Iowa, a daughter of Glenn and Cecil Crain Sherman.
Sheila was in the Air Force stationed in Oklahoma where she met her husband Bob Sanseverino and was married on Feb 2 1952. She was a world traveler, a season ticket holder for Tulsa’s PAC and she loved Broadway musicals. Sheila held several officer positions in various clubs and she enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening (digging in the dirt) and crochet. She raised award winning racing greyhounds while living in Mobile, Alabama and loved attending her grandson Tony’s band concerts and her granddaughters dance recitals. Sheila also volunteered at St. Michael Catholic Church and volunteered with the disabled.
Sheila is survived by one son, Mario Sanseverino of Henryetta, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Melissa Allison and husband Kyle of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one grandson, Tony Sanseverino of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas Barnes, Quentin Barnes and Bailey Allison; her daughters-in-law, Corky Sanseverino, Linda Pace and husband Donny Pace. Her beloved niece Margaret Forsberg and her life-long friend, Cindy Beasley who played a significant role during the last few months of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Eugene Sanseverino who passed March 12, 1971; her parents Glenn and Cecil Sherman; brother, Russell D. Sherman, Sr.; and two sons, Anthony Sanseverino and Mark Sanseverino.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta, Oklahoma with a funeral Mass being held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
