2014 Meet the Candidates:

Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction

Tuesday, June 17, 2014         6:30 pm – 8:30 pm 

     Owasso High School Performing Arts Center

     12901 E. 86th Street North

 

placEach candidate will present a 3-5 minute introduction and then a Q&A session to follow.  Out of respect for everyone’s time, especially the candidates, each topic will have an allotted amount of time for Q&A.  Those attending are encouraged to prepare questions in advance based on the designated topics.

     

·        There will be 4 topics for Q & A discussed by each Candidate:

     1.        Standards (Common Core and/or Future Standards)

     2.       Testing/Assessments

     3.       Education Funding

     4.       Goals for Each Candidate if elected into office

Panel One – Democratic Candidates for State Superintendent

Panel Two – Republican Candidates for State Superintendent

A short break and refreshments will be provided between each panel’s session.
