Spread the love
Susan Elizabeth Stilwell, age 55, passed away on June 13, 2024. She was born on April 29, 1969, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, to loving parents Tom and Donna Harkins. Susan graduated from UCO with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and marketing.

Susan’s life was dedicated to caring for and nurturing her family and those closest to her. One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother (or as Aria calls her; “Mimi”). From zoo trips and fireworks to making spooky Halloween cupcakes they loved doing everything together.

Her husband of over 30 years Shane will deeply feel the loss of his true soulmate and college sweetheart. Together, they navigated life’s ups and downs with unwavering commitment.

Susan was her daughter Ashlee’s number one supporter and biggest comfort in life. Ashlee will pass on all the knowledge she learned from her beloved mother to Aria through the most beautiful love of all; a mother’s love.

Susan was present for every event, milestone, and achievement in her family’s lives and was always the first to show support and love through those things. If she wasn’t already helping out, she was asking how to be helpful.

Susan is survived by her husband Preston Shane Stilwell, daughter Ashlee Michele Reed and son-in-law Mikey Bryce Reed, granddaughter Aria Louise Reed of Collinsville, Oklahoma father Thomas (Tom) Carol Harkins, of Del City, Oklahoma and sister Carolyn Louise Harkins, of Cedar Creek, Texas. As well as Uncles, Aunts, cousins, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother Donna Louise Harkins.

Memorial services will be 1:00pm June 20th at Hampton Inn, 9009 N 121st E Ave, Owasso, OK 74055. We humbly request plants in place of vase flowers to represent the loving, nurturing, and committed nature Susan had to those around her. Her vibrancy and love for life will forever show through them. Alternatively, donations can be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude

Susan will be forever remembered as someone who selflessly gave, cared deeply, and was devoted to her family and friends. She was a bright light in many people’s lives and those who knew her only knew love and compassion.
