Susan Lynn Tyner was born September 28, 1956, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Loyd Amon Means and Merle Nadine Williams Means. She died Saturday, June 29, 2024, in Tulsa at the age of 67 years. Susan moved with her family from Tulsa to Owasso in 1968 where she attended school and graduating with the Owasso High School Class of 1975. She was married July 12, 1980, in Tulsa to Kenneth Tyner.
Susan spent some of her working life as a dental assistant, but primarily was involved in the family business as an administrative assistant with Tyner Homes. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including going to the tracks for horse races and playing the slots at the casino. She also enjoyed spending quiet time watching birds. Susan loved listening to music and was an avid fan of Stevie Nicks.

Granddaughter; Madilyn Tyner and husband John Arnold
Sister; Robin Kernyansky and husband Steven
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Nadine Means.
Graveside funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso with interment to follow. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Susan’s memory to the Folds of Honor Foundation, 5791 North Patriot Drive, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055, or at donorservices@foldsofhonor.org. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
