On Thursday, December 18, 2014, the Owasso Community Center hosted a Senior Pool Tournament for the Four State Region Pool Association. This was one of five tournaments Owasso hosts for the association in 2014. The association consists of Senior Centers in Miami, Grove, Joplin, MO, Bentonville, AR, Neosho, MO and Owasso. Players must be a minimum of 60 years of age. The tournament is open to both men and women from the participating centers. This week’s tournament drew 29 entries. Play began at 9:00 AM and ended at 3:30 PM. There were players from Owasso, Broken Arrow, Coweta, Skiatook, Vinita, Collinsville, Miami, Tulsa, Bentonville, AR, and Joplin MO. The results were left to right, first place, Seneca McIntosh; second place, Jerry Richards and third place, Lee Klahr.
On January 8, 2015 a Tournament of Champions tournament will be played in Neosho, MO. 56 players have qualified by placing in the top 3 of one of the 49 qualifying tournaments in 2014.
