Vacation on a Budget: Skip the Hotel & Rent a House
If you have a large family or plan a week long vacation you know hotel prices can eat up most of your budget. There is a website though that is out there to change that, it’s called VRBO.com and they have more than 600,000 vacation rental properties worldwide.
All you have to do is put in your destination and look through the long list of choices and options available. The key is that you have to look at it like the “craigslist” of rentals. Meaning, there is no “overseer” or someone who is going through these properties for you. It is up to you to read all of the feedback and do your research so you don’t end up in some hut in the middle of nowhere.
All in all, it sounds like a great deal!
