Owasso – March 28, 2016: A public meeting regarding the Vision for Owasso initiative will be held this Thursday, March 31st at the Tulsa Tech Owasso campus at 6:00 pm. Warren Lehr, Owasso City Manager will conduct a brief presentation with a Q & A session.

On January 19, 2016, the Owasso City Council approved Resolution 2016-01 and Ordinance 1068 calling for an election on April 5, 2016. The purpose of the election is to submit a project-based question to voters, which if approved, will recapture a portion of the expiring Tulsa County sales tax, known as Vision 2025. The proposition requests approval of fifty-five hundredths of one percent (.55%) of the expiring sixty hundredths of one percent (.60%), beginning January 1, 2017 and expiring December 31, 2023, for the following projects:
