Wanda June Poplin was born November 16, 1933, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to William Thomas and Marie Price Horner. She died Saturday, July 6, 2019, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years. June was a life-long resident of Jenks, Oklahoma, where she completed her secondary education. She was married August 24, 1949, in Ozark, Arkansas, to Everett Lee Poplin. She spent much of her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family. June was a longtime faithful member of Jenks Regular Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 1:30 Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Final resting place will be at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
