Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa officials add March 15 show
TULSA, Okla. – Country legend Willie Nelson has booked a longer stay at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.
Nelson will now play shows on March 15 and 16, making him the first artist to play back-to-back nights at The Joint. He was originally scheduled to play the venue on March 16.
Tickets for both shows start at $45 and go on sale Jan. 31.
Since launching his career in 1959, Nelson has produced 66 studio albums and 96 singles, with an astonishing 25 songs peaking at No. 1 on U.S. charts.
Among his most famous chart-topping songs are the signature hits “On the Road Again,” “Always on My Mind,” “If You’ve Got the Money I’ve Got the Time,” “Blue Skies,” “Georgia on My Mind,” and “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain.”
His most recent release is 2012’s “Heroes,” which features covers of Pearl Jam’s “Just Breathe” and Coldplay’s “The Scientist.” The album includes guest appearances by numerous musicians, including his son Lukas Nelson, Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Snoop Dogg, Jamey Johnson and Sheryl Crow.
